It is our great pleasure to present Dimitris Karanastasis, our new Motivational Speaker.
Dimitris holds a PhD in Banking from the University of Piraeus, Department of Banking and Financial Management. His research interests focuses on financial stability, financial crises and banking. He is a Research Associate at the University of Piraeus and teaches courses both at the doctorate and undergraduate level. He is currently the managing director of the Independent Living Organization of Greece "iliving", the first organization in Greece that promotes the Independent Living philosophy for persons with disabilities. He is also a member of ENIL's (European Network on Independent Living) audit committee. Dimitris is a wheelchair user for the last 6 years.
