participated in the Labyrinth of Senses inclusion celebration, "Labyrinth of Training" at the Serafion of the Municipality of Athens.
Through an interactive and experiential education we discussed the concepts of social acceptance, equality, responsibility, inclusion and accessibility. We solved a lot of questions about disability and had a great time!
All people want to learn, work, have fun and live without barriers!
At Serafio City of Athens we filmed our story, our work and talked about how together we will build an inclusive world!

3rd annual Circles Meet Up of the Lean In Network in Greece. SKEP's Inclusion & Accessibility Consultant Dimitra Kontova, participated in a panel on the subject "From Girls' Strenghts", that took place at the Serafion of the Athens Municipality. The goal of the Lean In Network Greece-Athens is to support women in achieving their ambitions so that we live in a more fair world where people of all genders can pursue their dreams without prejudice or other barriers holding them back.
SKEP's participation at the invitation of the U.S. EMBASSY. Together with other disability organizations and advocates, we committed to raising our voices for a disability-inclusive society where respect, accessibility and equal representation are the norm.
BOOM Village Family Festival - "How do you drive? How do you dance? How do you swim in the sea when you can't move your legs?" Dimitra Kontova, SKEP's Inclusion & Accessibility Consultant participated by answering all queries and discussing openly with parents and children who attended the Festival.
I may or may not be friends with disabled people. It's important to have a good time, to talk about various topics and to support each other through the good times and the hard times.
Through my discussion with the students, I asked them to think about their own friends and tell me why they hang out with them. They told me that their loved ones are kind, make them laugh, hug them when they're sad, play a lot of games, and like the same foods.
Our collaboration with SDE - Hellenic Advertisers Association is one of which we are very proud and happy as our shared values contribute to the creation of an equal and inclusive society.
Together with HandsUp we carried out the Accessibility & Inclusion Educational Program to SDE member companies. We discussed with the participants about stereotypes, obstacles, lack of social acceptance, but also about responsibility, equality, accessibility and inclusion.
SKEP was invited by the Region of Central Greece to participate in the conference "Disability Awareness Week" which was organized for the second year in a row, having as a slogan "All Together - All Equal".
