Personal information is not required to browse to our site. This site collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

3.1 Monitoring of visits

Like most sites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user’s interaction. We use these data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our site, and to see their route on it.

Although GA records data such as geographic location, device, web browser, and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you. However, personal data that are being collected for this purpose remain anonymous. GA also records the IP address of your computer, which could be used for your personal identification, but Google does not provide access to it. Google is the processor.

GA uses cookies, details of which you can find in Google's developers’ guide. Our site uses GA's analytics.js application.

Disabling cookies on your web browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages on this site.

3.2. Electronic Newsletter

During your subscription to our newsletter, we will be using your name, surname and e-mail address to send you newsletters exclusively from our Association. The agreement of receiving our newsletter via email can be canceled at any time by clicking on the 'unsubscribe from this list' link. Every version of our newsletter contains this link, which redirects you to a page where you can withdraw your consent. If you choose to join our e-mail newsletter, the email address you submitted, will be promoted to MailChimp, which provides us with e-mail marketing services.

MailChimp is a service provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 512 Street Means, Suite 404 Atlanta, GA 30318 and is considered to be the processor. When you subscribe to our newsletter, the information (name, email address) you post on the subscription form are being transferred to MailChimp and stored there. The MailChimp service provider has its registration address in the United States. Therefore, your data will be processed on servers / data centers in the United States. After signing up, you will receive an email from MailChimp in order to confirm your registration ("double opt-in"). MailChimp offers several capabilities for analytics on how the newsletter opens and being used. These analytics are group-centered and are not being used by us for any kind of individual evaluation of the recipients of our newsletter. Your email address will remain in the MailChimp database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp for e-mail marketing or until you explicitly request removal from the list. You can do this by using the delete links contained in any newsletter we send you via email.

If you are under 16 years old, you MUST obtain parental consent before signing in to our newsletter. If you are a parent or guardian and consent to the minor submitting his personal data to this site, you agree to this Policy regarding the use on behalf of the minor.

While your email address remains in the MailChimp database, you will receive periodically (approximately once a month) newsletters from us, via email.

4. DATA BREACHES

We will report to the competent authorities any unlawful violation of data held in the database of this site or the database of any third-party data processor within 72 hours of the violation, if has been clear that personal data stored in an identifiable form have been stolen.

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) of this site is Mrs. DIMOPOULOU FOTEINI, lawyer, registered at Chalandri, Attica, 238, Kifissias Avenue, with email address dpo@skep.gr, which whom subjects of data may contact for any matter related on the processing of their personal data and exercise of their rights, as those are being described in detail below under clause 12.
