Athena Kritikou, President of the Association, presented SKEP's assessment in the context of the conferences' thematics "People with Special Educational Needs and Human Rights". The conference entitled "Human Rights in a Changing World. Research and Applied Approaches» organized by the University of Ioannina, the Department of Preschool Education, the Greek Psychologists Association and the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations. The Conference will be held at the Congress Centre of the University of Ioannina "Karolos Papoulias", from 25 to 27 May 2016. It is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs and the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece. The Conference participates in the United Nation campaign for Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030, it is interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary and it involves participants from ten (10) Universities from Greece and abroad, thirteen (13) University Schools, seventeen (17) University Departments and eighteen (18) independent bodies and NGOs with important work and expertise in the fields of Human Rights. During the Conference there will be many important guest speakers from Greece, Cyprus, England, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Italy and Croatia, representatives of the United Nations from Greece and Belgium and a total of sixteen (16) thematic roundtables and poster presentations.
