Since 2008 we have had an enormous increase of joint activities, events and partnerships with institutional and private bodies. We focus on strengthening information and dialogue through methodical cooperation with institutional bodies at national, European and international level, aiming to:

 • Inform, Protect and Promote the rights & equal opportunities of young people (with and without disabilities and living in adverse conditions)

• Cultivate intimacy, acceptance, awareness, solidarity, tolerance

• Strengthen the integration, cooperation and socialization of people with disabilities.

• Reinforce good practice, active participation and capacity building

• Promote volunteerism, social participation and collective responsibility

• Mobilize local communities

  • Thursday, March 21, 2024 - Active citizens fund Greece – Inequalities in Education Conference – The fund management of the program is carried out by both the Bodossaki Foundation and SolidarityNow. The aim of the event is the exchange of good practices and innovative approaches for inclusive education as well as the elimination of inequality to access and to educational results. Mrs Athena Kritikou, SKEP’s President is participating on the panel “Education of children and youth with disability”.
  • Friday, February 23, 2024 - Active Citizens Fund Greece - Therapeutic Music Project for Children with Special Educational Needs. Implemented by the NGO Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door together with the NGOs Imagine Heritage & Culture Break Borders. 1rst online workshop, 10.00-13.00 Live Streaming - Introduction and practical information/knowledge about the topic: What music offers, what are its benefits (focusing on the children of Open Door), how it is used as a therapy tool and what its significance means. Lastly, how music improves and contributes to daily life as well as to the challenges of learning difficulties. Participating are SKEP's Founder and President, Mrs Athena Kritikou and Inclusion & Accessibility Consultant, Ms Dimitra Kontova talking about "Art opens the door to empathy and inclusivity".
  • Wednesday, January 31, 2024 - #STEAM4ALL Experiential Seminar, an ICC WOMEN HELLAS Event. Participation as a speaker of SKEP's President Ms. Athena Kritikou, on the topic "Inclusive Education: a school for all children".
  • Saturday, January 13, 2024 - "Disability, Creating Hope" Conference organised by the Rotary International District, in the Old Parliament (Athens). Participation as a speaker of SKEP's President Ms. Athena Kritikou, on the topic "Disability: the obstacles we put up as a society... challenges & solutions!".
  • January - June 2024. SNFCC Guided tours in Sign Language in the Park. The SNFCC aims to offer accessible tours of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and in collaboration with SKEP provides guided tours of the park in sign language. The tours are conducted by SKEP’s external collaborator Mr. Konstantinos Samaras.
  • January - June 2024.
