Panagiotis Pitsiniagkas, SKEPs executive, was a speaker at the 3rd Conference of iatronet themed: "Child patient".
His speech was entitled "Isolation and stigma of the child-patient with disabilities: stereotypes and discrimination" and through it he explained how he breaks down stereotypes conversing daily with primary and secondary school students.
Closing here are the words of Dr. Temple Grandin which marked the beginning of our talk:
"There needs to be a lot more emphasis on what a child can do, instead of what he cannot do"
