The biggest Celebration of Volunteering in Athens supporting people with disabilities is a fact!
Ethelon organization, together with the voluntary group Wheeling2help, organize the biggest Volunteer Festival in Athens, Sunday 25 September, from 11.00 to 15.00, at Technopolis, to inform and raise awareness regarding disability, health, volunteering and environment.
Children, youths and adults, will have the opportunity to learn, through their participation in interactive, recreational and experiential activities that will be implemented by many non-profit organizations, such as:
- Activities related to disability
- Creative activities for children and adults
- Sports actions by clubs / associations
- Events related to health
- Events related to art, with art projects, street theater
- Events related to the environment.
SKEP will participate organizing the open discussion: "Wheeling2talk", from 13.00 to 14.00 at "Apotheke", raising awareness regarding disability. We aim to create 'reflexes' and social responsibility, and promote equal participation in society for all citizens. The discussion will be coordinated by SKEPs motivational speakers: Panagiotis Pitsiniagkas and Stefanos Vouros.
