My day started off quite nicely because I was rebuked by a 5 year old! As soon as he saw me park in the designated area, he got off his skateboard and came to tell me that this place is for disabled people. I first thanked him for his time and for his actions, afterwards I thanked his father for the way he raised him, and then showed him my wheelchair in the trunk of my car. Since I work daily with children I can still be optimistic that we are moving forward...

World Guide Dog Day today and we do not forget the pup that we fostered together with our partner, Thalia.
Niki is in the final line of her training to become a guide dog for thw blind and that makes us terribly proud.

Vaggelis, Rania and Thalia met in 2010 when they all participated in ICC-International Camp on Communications and Computers for people with visual impairment.
Now, Rania, as a special education teacher, invited us to implement our program to the students of the 7th Junior High of Halandri.
