We are particularly honored to announce the participation of SKEP’s Founder and President Athena Kritikou at the 14th session of the UN Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, at the UN headquarters, in New York on June 17, 2021. 

SKEP’s participation in the event is held under the auspices of the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations.

It is a great pleasure for us to participate in the 2nd Forum of the Greek-French innovation network Mazinnov, which will take place in Technopolis on November 10 & 11.

We are in Kallithea today, at the 1st High School.

We were invited to the Conference entitled "Teen Mental Health ... Children Grow Up ... Transitions and Challenges". Our Programs Coordinator, Thalia Kiousi, shared with the participants the good practices of SKEP, regarding the social inclusion of young people with disability.

In the conference we exchanged views, experiences and knowledge on the issue of childhood and adolescence physical and mental health.

We would like to thank Kallithea's Family Advisory Center  for the invitation and the organization.

Greek Guiding Association organized a Pan-Hellenic action entitled "BLEkomaste", in cooperation with the Municipality of Athens. Therefore, in Athens, for three days, more than 300 children aged 11 to 14 came together. These young people were divided into groups of 50, each group moving separately in the center of Athens, carrying out different activities.

As part of the Month of Familiarization with Disability, under the auspices of the City of Athens, SKEP organized an Educational Awareness Program on Saturday 18/03 - 11.00-13.00, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality.

On Saturday, March the 4th, we are participating in the 1st of CATCH-EyoU "Young People as Active EU Citizens? Challenges and Visions on a Renewed Project for Europe", since we are an Association deeply involve with Youth.

We are trying to promote this project by communicating our good practises, thus encouraging young people to be more involved in european matters.

Participants in the Conference are as well young students, Organisations, Social and Civil Entities, Academics and representatives of EU Institutions.

The institution of TEDx Athens Salon returns and broadcasts fro the first time from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, setting this time a social question:
What accessibility means? Six separate speeches will help us get out of what think and touch the real significance of accessibility, in everyday life.

The accessibility of the event was designed with the support of SKEP - Social Responsibility for Children and Youth.
