SKEP at the Consulate General of Greece in New York!
Today we met with the Consul General of Greece in New York, Mr. Konstantinos Koutras. We presented the U.S. EMBASSY ATHENS externship program that SKEP is undertaking at the The IDEAL School of Manhattan.
Can you imagine a school without a bell ringing?
The entire 'The Ideal School of Manhattan' team welcomed her eagerly, and enthusiastically! We both feel «back to school». Only this school is like no other! It’s time to work toward a common goal: To pave the way for an educational system that will include us all!
The annual event of the Hellenic Engineers Society of Great Britain was successfully held last Saturday in London and part of its proceeds will be donated to our Association.
The event was attended by more than 700 guests from 40 countries, including the Greek Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mr. Dimitris Karamitsos-Tziras.

SKEP’s next steps in Education
Following 12 years of experience in creating and effectively implementing innovative Educational Disability Awareness Programs in schools, SKEP is taking the next steps in facilitating and actively supporting the inclusive education process.
An innovative educational program titled «A society for All», based on Empathy and on the development of students’ Social and Communicative Skills, was drafted and proposed at the initiative of SKEP.
On Sunday we held an open dialogue on disability with Athens Pride volunteers!
We were welcomed with love in their new space to discuss all that unites us and what makes our uniqueness shine.
It is always moving to have a discussion with people who experience discrimination & marginalization and to compare our experiences.
Together we are always better!
So... today we are waiting for 250 students to join us in breaking diversity stereotypes.
