16th Elementary School of Marousi

Students from 2 different classes gathered in a very small classroom. As many conditions may seem "wrong", what at the beggining seemed awkward in the end created the conditions for greater intimacy.

Happy New Year!
Some may wish that on the 1st of January, some on the 1st of September, we do it this week with our first visits on schools.

The first schools to visit for this year were the 19th Elementary School of Nea Ionia and the 90th Elementary School of Athens, were the students made whatever they could to remind us why we love our job so much!
 

Art exhibition from students with and without disability.

SKEP is participating in the events that take place at the 4th "Athens Democracy Forum", entitled "Kids celebrate Democracy!" that opens today at 18.00 in the Park for Children and Culture in the City of Athens.

Our exhibition consists of paintings and t-shirts. They have resulted from the artistic partnership of young people with and without disability. These partnerships were coordinated within the SKEP programs at Vorres Museum.

 

 

"Learning Democracy through Diversity"

Ileana Vasdeki is the Director of Communications at SKEP and today at 11.00 she will moderate the discussion "Learning Democracy through Diversity" in Myrtillo cafe, located in the "Park for Children and Culture" (Trifylias and Lampsa, Ambelokipi).

Kids celebrate Democracy!

During the 4th Athens Democracy Forum, the municipality of Athens organized a series of events dedicated to the Kids and Democracy. "Kids celebrate Democracy!" initiative holds numerous events from 13th to 18th of September at the Park for Children and Culture (Trifylias and Lampsa, Ambelokipi). SKEP will be there with experiential speeches and an exhibition of paintings based on: Disability-Democracy-Child.
