Voluntary Action Festival

In the panel "Everyone can be a volunteer" of the Volunteering Festival organized by the company Skywalker, key speaker was Panagiotis Pitsiniagkas, our Motivational Speaker, who shared his own experience as a volunteer.

 

2ND CSR Connecting Day

On July 6th, 2016, the Bodossaki Foundation and the Institute of Communication organized the 2nd CSR Connecting Day, a gathering of Non-Profit Organizations, with representatives of companies that invest in important CSR activities in Greece.

The aim of the event is to bring together companies that wish to invest in projects and initiatives with major social impact, which can face the challenges of our times and create prospects for the future, with structured and qualified civil society organizations which seek supporters.

5th SNF International Conference on Philanthropy

The 5th SNF International Conference on Philanthropy took place on June 21st and 22nd, 2016, for the first time in Thessaloniki. This year’s theme was developed around the areas of the Mediterranean and the Balkans, as a wide geographic region which is currently facing enduring and diverse geopolitical challenges. 

Educational Workshop for Preschool Teachers of 24th and 4th District

 

As part of a training workshop for preschool teachers: "School Readiness- Social-Emotional shielding of preschool children", Mr. Stefanos Koutras, PhD in Special Education, University of Ioannina as well as Advisor of Special Education in IEP and Mrs Efrosini Vagi-Spiros and Maria Kouti, School Advisors, called Panagiotis Pitsiniagkas, SKEPs' executive, to inform the attending preschool teachers of our associations' aims and actions.

Yesterday we witnessed the event " The pioneers of Social Innovation " at the French Institute . The evening was opened by Ambassador of France in Greece Mr. Christophe Chantepy. More and more young people in Greece, France and around the world are turning to entrepreneurship with the desire to propose solutions to redesign a society more collaborative , more inclusive and environmentally friendly.

In the school year 2015-2016 SKEP - Association of Social Responsibility for Children and Youth rose awareness amongst 7489 students in 152 schools from all over Greece.

Lack of daily contact and necessary knowledge as well as ignorance are often the cause of negative attitude and rigid perceptions regarding the image of disability. The awakening and changing attitude towards people with disability is being built step by step.

1st Special Education Institutions Festival

Under the auspices of the National Confederation of Persons with Disability and the City of Athens on 5 and 6 of June in Gazi it was conducted the  1st Special Education Institutions Festival with the slogan "Seeking equality, claiming participation." The organizers of the festival aspire to sensitize and mobilize public opinion on the major issue of diversity acceptance as well as equal treatment of children and generally people with disability.
